Lion Business Brokers is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin McGraw.
DALLAS, June 7, 2022 (Newswire) – Lion Business Brokers is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin McGraw.
Kevin McGraw is a highly accomplished corporate and business attorney, with demonstrated success in complex transaction management, litigation management, dispute resolution, government contracting, regulatory compliance, and policy development, has a proven ability to negotiate complex business transactions.
Kevin enjoyed working for a business broker who owned an Arabian horse farm, among other businesses, while completing his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University. Working for her, he became intrigued with the industry, but eventually decided to go the law route instead. It always stayed in the back of his mind as something he would eventually like to do. After graduation from South Texas College of Law, he went on to work for both governmental and corporate organizations, specializing in many different areas of transactional law. One of the areas he enjoyed most was occasionally getting to work on divestitures, and mergers and acquisitions, in which he helped facilitate transactions including due diligence, ancillary agreements, drafting and negotiation of representations and warranties, and managing outside M&A counsel.
After researching several brokerages, Kevin says the team atmosphere is what drew him to Lion Business Brokers, along with the potential to utilize his legal and negotiations expertise to help business owners realize the most value from the sale of their business.
While working for ADT, Kevin was named Most Valuable (business) Partner for the ADT Commercial National Accounts Division two years in a row, and was named a Top Assistant General Counsel recipient for the First Chair Awards (national legal services association for in-house corporate counsel) in 2017 and 2018.
In his free time, Kevin volunteers through the State Bar of Texas with the Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans Pro Bono Initiative. Kevin has been happily married to his wife Nancy for almost 35 years. He also loves golfing, hunting, and watching sports, especially with his three sons.
